INTERESTS
I'm a writer, too. I won the Country Road's Young Writers' Contest for my essay on the history of the women in my family. My poetry and essays have been published in several literary journals and magazines.

I'm also a dedicated practitioner of mindfulness. I've completed two vipassana meditation courses, and I keep a daily yoga/meditation practice. I strive to be fully present in my life as well as in my work.

If I'm not editing awesome books, you may find me writing poetry, dancing, sitting outside in the sun, or watching solid TV shows with my partner, Joseph, and our miniature schnauzer, Suki.
