THE PROCESS
Introduction. First, fill out the form below. I'll get back to you soon and ask to review your manuscript. This will tell me 1) whether we're a good creative fit and 2) the level of editing that is needed. Then, I'll give you your personalized quote and let you know when I can schedule you in.

Rising action. Once you choose me as your editor (woo!), I'll send you an invoice for a 50% up-front deposit. We'll then schedule a video or phone call so that I can ask you lots of questions and understand your vision for this work in depth. Once the deposit is paid and you've sent me the manuscript, our real work will begin.

Climax. I'll read through your manuscript two to three times, leaving a few comments along the way to point out what is working well. Once I'm finished, I'll send you the manuscript with comments and a revision letter: a personalized document that lays out the main developmental issues and guides you through the process of revising.

Denouement. You'll review the manuscript, asking me any questions that come up. Feel free to take me up on a 30-minute follow-up call after our collaboration to address any sticking points. Then, you'll begin the process of rewriting.
